ELP Summary

2016-17 ELP Graduation Video

The Emerging Leaders Program is a nine-month program that has participants that have been nominated from many companies across the Spokane area.  Our class had leaders from Avista, Integrus Architecture, Spokane Airports, Kaiser Aluminum, Gonzaga University, and others.  A wide variety of leaders all coming from different backgrounds in different industries.  The program duration was from Fall 2016 through Spring 2017.

The program started with a 3-day immersion type retreat where we learned our “stories”, solved team building puzzles, became friends, and finally participated in an extreme adventure course.

Topics over the program included Organization Change Management, Self-Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, Employee Engagement, and Conflict Resolution.

Throughout the program, we were assigned to a mentor who guided and advised us along the path.

I graduated from the program in the Spring of 2017 only to find out that I also earned three credit hours toward the ORGL program.  Onward I decided!!

The representative artifact for my experience in the ELP is our class graduation video.
