ORGL 610 - Communication and Leadership Ethics

My initial expectation of this course was that it would be a review of ethics, and since I am what I perceive to be an ethical person, this would not really be anything new to me, but I was wrong on my expectation.

This course brought to us ethical dilemmas and gave us opportunities for investigation into the personal, organizational, and social values integrated within them.

The first 4 weeks of the course took us deep into our own personal ethical development and leadership decision making.

The second 4 weeks of the course introduced us to a variety of moral dilemmas that we confront in our organizations and social groups.

We applied our ethical decision making and leadership principles as we reviewed them.

In this course we had many opportunities to delve deep into our readings of which there were many.  In this course, I learned a much deeper understanding of my personal ethical journey, and that journey’s application to my leadership journey.

The representative artifact for ORGL 610 Communication and Leadership Ethics -is my "Ethical Action Plan and My Sphere of Influence" paper.
